10 Dec Ripppppppppppp!!! Toys are Destroyed !! Why?
Oh no he did it again! Another poor toy was sent to the toy cemetery!!
Why does he always do this? There are a few reasons, he is bored, has separation anxiety, lack of mental and physical stimulation, you don’t rotate the toys out, they are frustrated or stressed or they just plain like it cause it’s fun!!! A few tips to help, keep your dog entertained, exercised, loved and buy good quality toys. There are some out there that are said to be indestructible, but all toys can be demolished if you have the right dog!! All dogs have that’s killer instinct, so as a puppy they are taught to play hard and that can lead to destructive behavior later on. If you’re pup does start to get a little rough , walk away and change the scenery. Give him something to chew on and put the toy away. Switch out your toys to keep him interested, and teach him things always!! They need to learn and grow just like us so try puzzle games to keep the brain active.ALWAYS ALWAYS keep an eye on them when playing with a toy, pieces can come off and they can choke. IF the toy gets too ripped up, THROW IT OUT!! All these behaviors can also work with why the dog eats his bed, or your coffee table!!So remember wear him out, keep him happy and loved and leave a variety of things to do during the day and you won’t be planning any More toy funerals!!!
