14 Dec Is my Dog a cow? Why dogs eat grass
Does your dog occasionally munch on a blade of grass? Don’t worry it is not bad for them unless it has been chemically treated, then a trip to the vet may be in order. Dogs are not born carnivores or omnivores, they are scavengers and will eat anything. They may also munch on grass to settle an upset stomach or replace needed nutrition in their diet. Your dog is not going to graze in a pasture like a cow or horse, but once and a while they just may munch on the green stuff on a nice walk to the park. It will not harm them, so no need to worry. Just don’t pick a bunch and make a salad, they would prefer turkey or chicken guaranteed!!
